The drivers side headlights went out, both high and low beams. Went to the mechanic and had bulb replaced and still nothing. They tried to do a reset with the battery cables and still nothing. Was told it may be the TIPM and that they run over $800 to replace and also that Chrysler knew that the TIPM was defective. There is supposedly a lawsuit against Chrysler right now because they knowingly sold vehicles with a defective TIPM? I called a local Dodge Dealership and told them I was having problems with my headlights and they acted like they had no interest in trying to even look at my vehicle and they were very rude. So I will be going to a different Dodge dealership tomorrow so hopefully I can get better service than what I already got. Its a headlight problem and I'm sure there are many others with the exact same issue but no one knows how to fix it. Having those lights out causes a major driving problem while trying to drive at night or in the morning.

About 3 weeks before it went out completely, the driver side low beams and high beams were intermittent. Sometimes they turned on and sometimes they didn't. Once they went out completely I checked the bulbs and harnesses to make sure they were all good. I called the dealership to see if they had any other suggestions and they replied to check the fuse for the headlights. There is no fuse for the headlights. I started to research the issue and have concluded that the TIPM is out and it could potentially cost over $1000 to replace. I will have to go without driver side headlights as I do not have that kind of money to fix a headlight. I have found some home remedies which will momentarily fix the issue. I ran a relay from the passenger side headlights to the driver side and it works fine. But it does not fix the TIPM, just a temporary fix of this issue. Who knows how long before the passenger side goes out.

one day all of the sudden the headlights won't come ON. neither when turned ON or in auto. and then all of the sudden started working again without even popping the hood up. A couple days later, during night time, i went to switch the low beam to high beam and puff, no lights at all while driving 40mph in a hill country side in a pitch black night. i switched back to low beam and nothing... Scary times... I've ended up pulling over the side (only half of the truck since it was on the hill side), turn hazard blinkers on ... and besides the dangerous of the situation i was not going to move without having any type of illumination. Less than a minute later, the lights come back ON by it self.... talking about annoying and scary times.

since then, i have changed the light bulbs twice, rechecked the wires, used the brush wire on the connectors and the issue still happening. but since there are not "fuses" anymore and the lights are controlled by the TIPM, I don't have the $1350 the Chrysler wants for a new TIPM unit and re-programming it. RIDICULOUS!! what a 50 cent fuse could fix now it is part of something integrated that is faulty and render the whole system useless at night time.

these past 2 days, the headlights won't come up at all, i checked with a voltmeter and there is no power coming up on either of the headlamps connectors (left or right side).
