I have a lifetime powertrain warranty and took my truck to Charlie's Dodge in Maumee, Ohio for a minor rear differential leak. When I picked up the truck they informed me they had replaced the right front CV half-shaft under warranty also. They claimed it was making a noise? The truck had 44K miles on it. Yesterday, 10.18.2016, the Right Front Wheel bearing had a catastrophic failure at 70 MPH on the Turnpike without warning. The severity of the failure caused significant damage to the brake rotor, caliper, brake line, half shaft, steering knuckle and tire. Charlie's Dodge in Maumee, Ohio had just replaced the half shaft 2K miles earlier. The dealership denies any responsibilities for the problem.

Took my truck to the dealer a couple times over a roaring and vibration in the front corning left hand turns I knew what was wrong and you think someone that is a certified mechanic would also know,but would they listen to me no, they think customers are stupid, and don't know what there talking about. After the first mechanic changed both lower control arms because he read it on the internet some other dealership done to fix a vibration,which I was blown away that they would change something with no poof of it being defected,but anyways didn't fix anything the next time that mechanic was no longer there and the new mechanic put my truck on the lift and checked the right front wheel for up and down slack in the wheel bearing no slack but he spun the wheel and it was rough sounding and felt rough, a lot of hassle for a friggin wheel bearing!
