We purchased this vehichle and the steering wheel has a slit through it like its been deployed i would like to make sure it is safe also the side passenger seat the front seems like something is pocking you through the seat like it is not supposed to be there also the whole steering system seems off and not safe. I would like it to be noted and a recall should be made before injury to anyone.
I was getting off work and going about 25 mph on the street when I was involved in a head on collision, I had seen the light change when I pushed on the brake pedal, I heard a crunching noise and no brakes. All I could do was hold on to the steering wheel. The seat belt did not lock up and the air bags did not deploy, with me ending up hitting the steering. Wheel.

Takata recall. Had two wrecks in 2008 & 2009. Airbags did not deploy, have been replaced, recall csn 1. suffered serious neck injury ending in complete cervical Fusion & transplants. Also have Chrysler 2005/300 4 speed airbags replaced under same recall. Had no wrecks with it. I can't find anyone to represent me in settlement. Truck was moving when hit deer & stationary when a truck hit us in rear & side back.
Is there was an expiration date on the air bag recall for this vehicle? I have tried to get the recall repaired, but the dealer didn't have anymore parts in stock. That was last summer, and now they are backed up with appointments. I am not complaining about the dealer. I just want to make sure the time does not run out for the repairs to be done on this vehicle.
I received a recall notice for the air bags and I took it to Dodge dealer on marina blvd san leandro California 94577, they fixed the drivers side airbag but not the passenger side I am still waiting for them to fix the passenger side. I not not received notice as of yet.
Takata recall. I bought a 2015 Dodge truck at autonation Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram at 3118 government blvd mobile, al 36606. I used my 2008 Dodge 1500 as a trade in and because the recall parts were not available at that time they send that they could not sell that truck because it had arecall. They would only give me 4,000 on trade that truck was worth around 8,000 dollars. I went back to the dealer about two week later and the 2008 that I traded was off the lot and I am sure that they sold to some buy here hear pay here I fell like they cheated me out of the 4,000 dollars more for the truck. Granted I made the trade. But I feel like they acted in bad faith thank you for your time. Takata recall contacted dealer and signed up at recalls.mopar.com. Parts are still not available. It's been well over a year now and both airbags need to be replaced.

Takata recall my vehicle was shipped from North Carolina in humidity and hot sun for an extended period of time- approx two of those years was consistent humidity and high temperatures without being driven. I am now due to relocate to California and I am requesting my truck be repurchased by manufacturer due to the extended period of time awaiting these parts to be available. Carmax sold me this truck knowing these safety recalls were open and never told me! I never would have purchased this vehicle knowing it's putting my family lives at risk. There is also a third rear brake light water leak which I was told to replace rear window! only to still have puddles under my seat - now floor warped and smells like mold. Manufacturers is well aware of this defect as I see complaints about this with other Dodge Ram owners! all as frustrated as me due to Dodge first replacibg rear electric windiw which costs $600 -$1100 before finally telling customer it's a $3 gasket repair which Dodge will not sell you! they want to charge labor and make more money to do this fix! it needs to be recalled.

I was pulling out of a shopping mall turning left on the hwy 5 in holly springs ga when I was struck by another vehicle that ran a red light. The impact to my truck was just in front of the drivers side front wheel. The bumper was crushed all the way to the frame and the frame was bent over 1 foot. The truck had both front and side air bags and none of them went off. My head hit the side of the drivers window and doctors are saying I may need both shoulder and neck surgery. I believe this would not be the case if the air bags had deployed. While I was not traveling very fast, the other car was traveling fast enough to total my truck
