I've had the outer tie-rods replaced twice now, and once again they are bad. Both front shocks, wheel hubs (bearings), tie-rods all replaced and rides great for a short time, now bad again. Frustrating. I have to pay the deductible of the extended warranty each time.

4 TIE ROD ENDS IN AS MANY YEARS. OBVIOUSLY THERE IS A PROBLEM. WHY CANT THEY MAKE IT RIGHT AND PUT GREASABLE TIE ROD ENDS IN AND BE DONE WITH IT. IT COSTS ME 100$ A POP FOR "WARRANTY" DEDUCTIBLE TO GET ANOTHER FAULTY PART. THATS BS.

What kind of engineering are we getting when tie rod ends wear out only after 25K miles. In doing a search on the NET, I find I am not the only one this has happened to. Natually it occured after 3 years, so Its "not covered".

Am I going to have to replace them every 25K. Whats going to happen if I take my truck off road?

The CEO's take heafty bounus money supposedly for doing a good job. But are they? How can they justify there bonuses for not doing there job in assuring that the costly products there companies are manufacturing, are tested properly, and are consumer ready, before putting them up for sale. Don't the engineer/designers test anything anymore.

Now that I really look at my 30K truck, its nothing but a hunk of plastic, surounded by a very thin metal/plastic body, which by the way, scratches and dents extremly easy. They used white undercoating under my Dark Blue paint. So all scratches are amplified. Why can't they think, and use the same color undercoat as the top coat. DUH?
