Front end problems. half shaft makes a clanking sound every bump I hit and in a matter of a month I went through 4 front diffs and finally the 4th one didn't break. Bought dodge 2 in leveling blocks for the front. Drove 5 yrs with no problems, no shops could give me an answer as to why they were breaking. They decided to try to remove blocks and haven't broke another one yet. Can someone plz tell me why. Hate the way truck looks with factory rear end and front sits way lower. Wheels rub wheel well and makes me never want to get another dodge. And I'm a hardcore mopar guy.. all shops say there is nothing wrong and in same breath tell me not to use dodge ram leveling blocks.

The noise: constant squeaking and groaning coming from the front end. Lower A arm bushing are the noisiest and at times it is enough to dive you nuts. Dodge knows there is a problem and there should be a recall to get these things fixed. I had it to the dealership, and although the noise is constant they said they could not find a problem. I went on Youtube to find a short movie with the noise and the fix. Replace the lower and upper A arm bushings...no easy task.

I purchased this 2007 new truck in 2008, It had 2 broken wheel studs with approx 24000km. the dealer changed the hub and charged me for a wheel alignment.. UNDER WARRANTY.

I purchased the extended warranty, they told me everything that was covered under the new warranty would be included. At 6800 km I had noise in the front end, took to the dealer they changed wheel bearings and both tie rods. Again they wanted to charge me for alignment.

WHY DO WE HAVE TO PAY EXTRA WHEN WE HAVE WARRANTIES?????

The dealer told me I WOULD HAVE TO PAY DIAGNOSTIC FEES SO THEY CAN DETERMINE WHAT THE PROBLEM IS UNDER WARRANTY???????

I have purchased over 25 new vehicles since 1983 and have never experienced this kind of B.S from dealerships.

fed up with Provincal Chrysler dealership in Windsor Ont.
