Well this is the newest problem i have had with this truck. Bought it brand new and have had new o2 sensors, new cats, new drive shaft, all within the first 3,000miles. around 5,000 miles the Shifter lock went bad and truck would not shift out of park. Now at 40,000miles I have had the truck at the dealer multiple of times for this motor noise. When the truck hits 3,000RPMs a loud whistle noise starts at then around 4-5,000RPMs there is a loud screeching noise. Dealer said there is no vacuum leak or exhaust leak. They said they have never heard of this problem before or have heard of anything like it. But i know it is not normal. Only thing i can think of is maybe its a internal problem with the motor but i guess i wont know or find out until it blows up.
