- HVAC Replacement Mode, Vent, Recirculate Doors - This product fixes the mode door problem described. There are 5 doors in the HVAC box in a RAM. Unfortunately, the one being asked about is the hardest to fix--the mode 2 door. Fix yourself for less than $200. Dealer maybe $1500.

2005 Ram 1500 Quad Cab 4x4, had to replace blend air door and controller twice while under warranty and now that warranty is up it breaks again. Dealer wants $150 for new part plus labor at $110 an hour ,BS . Dodge has a new unit that is sturdier than original but they won't put it in as defective replacement ??? Cheap bastards. The dealerships knew this was an ongoing problem with the pickups and yet they wait to find a fix for it... Way to go MOPAR. Way to keep customers happy. I sure won't be a return customer...
