2004 Dodge quad cab 1500 pickup. Parked truck and brake pedal swung to left caused by brake pedal hinge pin coming out of hole as a result of C clip not installed at factory to prevent hinge pin from coming lose. Great potential for death or injury if brake pedal fails during hard braking or emergency reaction to stop. Contacted Dodge to inform. Defect corrected at dealer.
