Clear coat has seperated severely on the roof of the truck. Also on the hood of my truck there are two small areas where the clear coat has started to separate. Took truck to two highly respected body shops in our area for an estimate. Both shops quoted in the range of $3,000-3,500. Just for strip repaint of the roof and hood. Holy Moly!!!
Did not take to dealer knowing they will give the scripted answer, "out of warranty nothing we can do for you". That's Dodge code for, (we got our money from you, now you can bend over and kiss your rear-end goodbye, oh, and by the way you know all the millions we took from the tax payers on the bail out, you being one of them we're not going to return the favor to help those of you that are having issues because of our poor design and engineering).
DODGE will never get my business again. If buying a truck comes up in conversation, I tell people to stay clear of Dodge, they refuse to back up their product.
This is only one of several Dodge design & engineering defects that they will not take ownership of and help their customer out.
