Everytime I make a sharp right hand turn,my oil pressure drops to zero. When I come out of the curve it starts to read again. I looked at replacing the oil pump myself but apparently

you have to unbolt the engine and raise it up just to get the oil pan off. I don't have this type of equipment. I'd sell it but with gas prices so high nobody will give you anything for it.

We were leaving on a vacation that we had been planning for over 6 months, when we suddenly lost oil pressure. We immediately changed oil and it happened again and had to get towed home. We want to trade this beast in for a better truck, but are afraid we cannot get oil pressure up. I just had tranny rebuilt 6 mos. ago. Another Dodge defect! I say we all get together and start writing nasty letters to Dodge. Why does the little guy always get crapped on?
