The truck has been relatively trouble free until now. I replaced both front wheel bearings a while ago, the dash has been cracked and falling apart long ago, recently I replaced the heater core because it was leaking. Who designed this piece of crap? You have to pull out the whole dash and it falls apart in your hands. Now the heater won't shut off. It blows really hot air continuously. The AC compressor still works and the lines get cold, but the heater is so strong, nothing gets through to the vents but hot air and the temp control dial has no effect. I think my next step is to see about getting it fixed or put a valve in the heater water line to shut off the water to the heater so the AC works when it gets close to summer.
