Truck was attached to boat sitting on pier deck on top of ramp. Vehicle was running, and consumer heard a loud popping noise. Vehicle was moving towards the water, consumer jumped in truck to stop it but fell from the truck, this is when the vehicle dragged consumer down ramp and rolled over her arm causing damage to right arm/eldow, broke middle finger and had road burn up and down body. Dealership was aware of problem.
Consumer was able to shift gear indicator without application of brakes, allowing gears to be shifted by mistake at any time while vehicle was running. Dealer said it was normal and part of design. Consumer feels manufacturer needs to warn all owners of this.
When in park position, consumer can shift into any gear wihtout having to apply brakes which could result in accident or injuries. Consumer states this is an every day situation.
Cruise control engages at any given time. Dealer noticed transmission sending unit cable got loose. Consumer states most common scenario is cruise control being set at speed, then being cancelled by consumer either by cancel button or by braking, cruise will then reengage at set speed.
