on my 1999 ram with the original trans might i add according to the shop i got it fixed i had the check valve removed and a new tranny line installed and it cured the noise i heard when my tranny was down shifting into overdrive. he said there was a lot of these complaints and probs and fixed it for a reasonable price and ever flushed all fluids maybe you guys should check into this
