Under normal braking and upon deprssing brake pedal, pedal traveled to the floorboard, causing extended stopping distance due to brake pads which separated from adhesive and metal. Consumer has contacted dealer.
Brakes started scrapping and making noise, the inside pads on front were grounded into the rotor, metal against metal, dealer contacted and cannot duplicate the problem. Consumer made repairs, contacted manufacturer and they cannot duplicate the problem.
Whenever brake pedal is pressed downward to slow or stop vehicle, it would not stop. Vehicle would coast, instead. Took to dealer & service manager said that the brakes had faded. The brakes were a constant problem. Had the brake pads replaced, but the problem was not solved.
ABS: Brake shoes and pads have adjustment problem; causes pads to wear out prematurely; results in extended stopping; replaced 4 times within 38,000 miles.
