I HAD MY BRAKES EXAMINE BY MIDAS BECAUSE OF THE LOUD SQUEAK, SO I COULD HAVE SOME KNOWLEDGE OF THE PROBLEM BEFORE I TOOK TO DEALERSHIP. I WAS INFORMED BY MIDAS BRAKE THAT BY BRAKES AND SHOES ARE GOOD AND DON'T NEED REPLACING AND I SHOULD TAKE THIS COMPLAINT TO THE DEALERSHIP. I TOOK MY CAR TO TEAM DODGE- MORROW, GEORGIA AND TOLD THEM MY COMPLAINT. I WAS THEN TOLD THAT MY BRAKE WARRANTY HAD EXPIRED AT 12,000 (NOTE MY MILEAGE NOW WAS ONLY 12,700) AND I WOULD BE CHARGED A DIAGNOSTIC FEE OF 98.00. IF MY BRAKES WERE DEEMED DEFECTIVE THAT I WOULD NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS FEE. UPON EXAMINATION FROM TEAM DODGE, THEY STATED THAT MY BRAKES WERE STILL GOOD AND DID NOT NEED REPLACING. HOWEVER, IF I WANTED MY NEW CAR THAT NOW SOUNDS LIKE A MAKE FROM 1970 TO STOP SQUEAKING THAT I SHOULD HAVE THEM REPLACED AT MY COST. I CALLED CHRYSLER TO FILE A COMPLAINT THAT EVENING AND WAS TOLD THAT I WOULD BE ASSIGNED A CASE MANAGER AND THIS WOULD CONTACT ME THE NEXT DAY. THIS CASE MANAGER CALLED MY CELL PHONE TEN MINUTES BEFORE THEY CLOSED. I WAS NOT ABLE TO ANSWER THE PHONE AT THAT TIME BECAUSE I WAS DRIVING. I CALLED THE NEXT DAY AND GAVE THEM MORE AVAILABLE TIMES TO CONTACT. TODAY IS A WHOLE WEEK LATER AFTER LEAVING VOICEMAIL AFTER VOICE MAIL AND SITTING BY TWO PHONES (CELL AND HOME) NO ATTEMPTS EVER TO CONTACT ME. I FINALLY DEMANDED NOT TO PLACE THROUGH A VOICE MAIL AND MESSAGE NOT TO GIVEN TO MY CASE MANAGER, TRAVIS. I TOLD THE CUSTOMER REPRESENTATIVE THAT I WANTED TO SPEAK WITH A SUPERVISOR THIS TIME FOR REAL. I WAS TOLD THAT EVEN THOUGH MY NEW CAR SQUEAKS LOUD LIKE A LEMON THAT THEY DID NOT DEEM THEM DEFECTIVE AND WOULD NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE COST REPLACING MECHANICAL GOOD BRAKES EVEN THOUGH THEY SQUEAK THEY THE CAR IS FALLING A PART. CURRENTLY DODGE IS HAVING A RECALL ON SOME JEEPS, NITRO, ETC. FOR BRAKE LEAKING. THIS I DISCOVERED WHILE DURING A INTERNET SEARCH FOR COMPLAINTS. MY CAR DOES NOT INTO TO THIS RECALL CURRENTLY. ANYONE THINK OF PURCHASING THIS TYPE OF VECHICLE.......BUYER BE VERY AWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
