I have been dealing with this problem for about 4 years and I take it to Dodge dealer where I bought my Nitro brand new. At first it was the it did not do it for us. Well I finally got smart and videotaped it. It does it randomly. But I have replaced starter, starter relay, battery, water pump, and have paid for all except relay. It still is not working but has gotten progressively worse as this week it took 16 cranks before it finally started.
The mechanic told me that my car was getting old. It is a 2009 with only 83,000 miles on it it is in great shape except for this starting problem. I have left it with the dealer for a week at a time and still not fixed. So 2 days ago it did not want to start as I said before but finally did and I called dealer service very upset.
I cannot believe Dodge cannot fix their cars. He tells me no one has had this problem. I tell him that is a lie cuz I read stuff on internet. I asked for a loaner and for them to fix my car. I asked if they contact corporate or other dealers for advice. Did not get a real answer on this question.
I am very frustrated. Does anyone have any suggestions or know what the problem is? Need help!
