The contact owns a 2007 Dodge Nitro. While driving at approximately 55 mph, the vehicle stalled without warning and then proceeded to restart and independently reverse. The dealer advised he was unable to diagnose the failure because the failure codes were reset when the vehicle independently restarted. The failure persisted intermittently. The manufacturer informed the contact his vehicle was not under recall and would not provide any assistance. The failure mileage was 63,000 and the current mileage was 77,000.
