I have a Dodge Neon SXT 2005, Today after picking my three children up from grade school my car suddenly accelerates and will not stop. I had to throw the car in park and turn off my engine upon turning into my driveway because the car would not quit accelerating it took me from a stop sign past 9 houses to my driveway without touching the gas it just kept accelerating the car would not stop. I almost rear ended my wifes blazer and garage. My kids are terrified and my youngest son was so scared he peed on himself. I am not sure which raced more the engine or my heart. How can Dodge let this go on without a recall? Does anyone know how to fix this? I have some choice words for Dodge and its parent corporation but as children could see this Ill keep it brief F*&k your D@#n F*(c&*ng POS automobiles. You are lucky my kids did not get hurt or id be hunting some Dodge people right about now!
