Recall# 00 V 075 000: Rear brake valve. Brake fluid is leaking from right rear wheel press valve. Dealer has been notified, and informed consumer that vehicle was not included in recall due to VIN. Feel free to provide any further information.
After the car was serviced for the power brake vacuum recall, the "new" vacuum hose fell off within 3 miles. The engine reved to 2000 RPM and the brakes were almost inoperative. After stopping the car I opened the hood and saw hose completly off on the engine side. I replaced the hose and continued on. I informed the dealer of the problem and of my repair they said they would talk with the mechanic.
Consumer has contacted dealer in reference to recall number 00V154000/ manufacturer's recall 983, dealer stated parts were not available. Parts would not be available until further notice.
While applying brakes vehicle accelerated suddenly and unexpectedly to 80mph. Dealer has inspected vehicle, and reattached vaccum hose that was not installed correctly. Consumer states this has happened 3 times before 4-12-2001 vehicle was taken into shop but dealer could not find anything wrong.
