when i bought this car it was running rough and often died unexpectedly or when i got to a certain speed. it often took me hours to get 10 miles because it died so much. so i hooked an obd-II scanner up to it and found the solution to be that the ignition coil was fried. being a mechanic i knew to dig deeper and found that either my crankshaft or camshaft position sensor was bad so i just replaced both. wanting to avoid this from happening ever again. all three parts were rather cheep.
