The contact owns a 2005 Dodge Magnum. The contact stated that the vehicle would not shift out of park. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic where the gear shift assembly box was taken apart and reassembled. The failure did not recur. The failure and current mileage was 38,000.

Took a 45 minute drive. Parked. Hour later could not shift out of park. Car had to be towed to dealer. Transmission shifter #4578029ab had to replaced at 682 miles. No info on old part.
