CarComplaints.com Notes: This is a classic example of why you should avoid the first model year of a new car. Sure, it's new and shiny but there's going to be some growing pains.
The 2005 Magnum has problems with the gear shifter getting stuck, a shaky and sometimes stalled engine and transmission failure at 75,000 miles.
Let someone else deal with those headaches.

My 2005 Dodge Magnum RT Hemi with 289,500 Miles had the brake light bulbs in the middle brake light not working. How could this be the car is only 11 years old and 1 light bulb went out ? I just bought this new car and this new car has a brake light out ? Odd..How can this is mind boggling ! This new car only has 289,500 miles and my 3rd brake light bulb went out.I drove the car 16,000 miles thus far and I don't know when this light went out...I am very upset,I want a recall on this 2005 Dodge, how doesn't a brake light not last longer than 11 years ? Nobody can answer me !
