CarComplaints.com Notes: This is a classic example of why you should avoid the first model year of a new car. Sure, it's new and shiny but there's going to be some growing pains.
The 2005 Magnum has problems with the gear shifter getting stuck, a shaky and sometimes stalled engine and transmission failure at 75,000 miles.
Let someone else deal with those headaches.

The headlights kept flickering and dimming and they went off around a hair pin turn on stage road in San Gregorio RURAL coastal San Mateo County, CA. YES, no headlights, one lane road with a mountain wall on the left and a 200 ft drop on the right.
There was no recall because it was NOT deemed dangerous! Dangerous my butt. Put your feet in my shoes, your driving down an ESS turn snaky rural road going 45/50, now shut your eyes instant darkness. It was the knob module (on off for headlights) it was brittle with broken pieces inside the casing.
