The car lost power and wouldn't speed up. Could have been rear ended. We had the abs light come on, the traction control light on, the air bag light on and a few more I didn't recognize they came on and went out so fast. Had to pull over and restart the car.
Was hit by another vehicle in front driver wheel which knocked me off the roadway. During the collision I kept hitting the brakes and the car wouldn't stop. I had no control over the steering as well. My car then hit a fence. My airbags never deployed with extensive damage to the front end of my car. Because of the airbags not deploying I hit my head on the steering wheel causing injury as well as my knees hit the dashboard.
Air bags did not deploy when I hit someone at 35+mph. My passenger and my safety was put at risk because the air bags did not deploy causing us to be thrown forward forcefully causing pain in our back and neck. Car is being towed to a shop and I let them know my concerns for the air bag being faulty
I have been getting airbag alert on dashboard since car was purchased in 2017-??would go away and come back on here and there. The headrest in passenger side deployed while driving!!! Ridiculous!

Light has been illuminating every few days, it will ding when it comes on then stay lit for several days. Not sure if the wiring under my passenger seat is loose or whats going on.
The contact owns a 2017 Dodge Journey. The contact stated that the air bag warning light illuminated with an audible tone while driving. The contact stated that the failure occurred approximately three times throughout the day while driving the vehicle. The contact stated that the vehicle had never been involved in a crash. The vehicle was not repaired. Neither the dealer nor the manufacturer had been notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 75,000.
The contact owned a 2017 Dodge Journey. The contact stated while driving 20 mph, when she rear-ended another vehicle. The air bags did not deploy. The contact stated she hit the steering wheel due to the impact and had chest pains later that night and the following day sought medical attention at an emergency room. A police report was filed. The vehicle was not drivable. The insurance company deemed the vehicle a total loss. The vehicle was towed to towing lot. A dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 78,000.
This is the second Dodge Journey now that I have owned and both of them have electrical problems with the back tail lights as well as the rear windshield wipers left tail light and both of my vehicles. Also with my second Dodge Journey with both of the cars I have transmission problems as well and I also have airbag warning always going off of my card when I make turns. So what the transmission it spiders as you are driving I have taken it to a dealership and it said that there is three recalls but for some reason on your website it shows no recalls also what the windshield wipers in the rear only I put it at my car in reverse and all sudden they turn on by themselves and they'll stay on and don't want to turn off until it feels like turning off but my left tail light does not work at all I've had the vehicle now for two years and I've had to switch about 12 lights and now to where none will not work at all and for the airbag warning system no one will be sitting in my passenger seat and when I'm making a turn all of sudden my airbag alarm will be going off.
Other driver ran red light causing me to hit them at an intersection. I was traveling 40mph. My air bags did not deploy. Front of my vehicle was totaled.
Air bag light comes on and stays on for a few days. After a few days the light doesn't come on and it then it come back on. When it does light up it dings. The A/C automatically turns on after I turn it off and the touchscreen starts to flicker when that happens. This has been occurring since 2/18/2020
The contact owns a 2017 Dodge Journey GT. Stated 500 miles out of 36,000 mile warranty the airbag light came on. When checked by a mechanic it had the following error code, B1C29, left side seat thorax squib 1 circuit open. Chrysler is refusing to repair as a safety issue. The light first appeared intermittently upon ignition but now remains on whenever the car is started and running. A wire under the drivers seat had become disconnected
The airbag light continues to come on while driving or once the car is started. It will stay on for a few days and then go off. When it comes on while the car is driving it will ding and stay on for days. The air conditioner/ heater jumps on and off while driving. It will be off and automatically jump on. I will turn it off and then it will jump on again. These issues were "fixed" by a Dodge dealership in may and are still reoccurring.
There bag light has come on at about 35,000 miles and has not went off. The A/C and heat keeps coming on whenever it wants no matter how many times I turn it off I have went up to Dodge multiple times and nothing has happened as I am over the 30,000 miles and to be charged 200 just to see what the problem is and then charge me even to fix it is ridiculous. The airbag light came on while I was driving and I pulled over and turned the car and turned it back on and it was still

The manufacturer was informed of the failure. The failure mileage was 40,000.
My traction light and ABS light is on and the cruise control will not work. Also the airbag light is on. The mechanic checked the codes but nothing is showing up.

During the incident the vehicle rolled over 3 times and the front end and sides were severely damaged but no side curtain or front airbags deployed. During the crash the driver sustained a injured chest and hearing lost, the front passenger sustained neck, back, head and right shoulder injuries. A police report was taken at the scene. The cause of the failure was not determined. The vehicle was destroyed and towed away. The local dealer and manufacturer were notified. The failure mileage was 80,000. Consumer's father contacted Chrysler and opened a case about the failed airbag deployment during the accident on 4/16/2019.
