engine runs rough. will stall out and shake in acceleration
We've had the vehicle checked multiple times. The mechanic at Karmart (where we purchase) said there are no codes coming up, so there's nothing to fix. We've had several close calls due to this issue. At one point I was pulling in to a driveway and the vehicle "chugged" forward, while my foot was on the brake and we almost rearended the parked car in front of us. We've also had the vehicle stall out while coming to a stop. This almost caused us to be rear-ended by the car behind us, as it was abrupt. These issues are recurring and we continue to be told, it's just how the car runs. HOW CAN THIS BE SAFE????? We have tried talking to Dodge, talking to Karmart, and even talking to our finance company. Nothing is being done. They are treating us like we just want a new car. Well this vehicle was brand new with 57 miles on it when we drove it off the lot. To have this and so many other problems with this vehicle is ridiculous. No one should have to go through something like this. This is our famiilies only vehicle, at this time. Dodge has told us that if my husband and I both continue to dirve it, they will not honor our warranty because it shouldn't be driven by 2 people. They have said that could be cause the for problems we're having. This in itself sounds beyond assanine to me but that is what they've said. Something needs to be done before someone is seriously hurt. I have made every attempt to let the dealership or the manufacturer make this right. That has not happened. Now they won't even work on our car because they said there is nothing more they can do. We purchased in November of 2016, so this vechilce is only 7 months old with a huge list of problems.
