The contact stated that while approaching an intersection stop sign and making a left turn the check engine and traction control warning lights illuminated. The contact managed to veer to the shoulder of the road shifted the vehicle to park, turned the vehicle off and back on and the vehicle performed as intended. The vehicle was taken to the dealer woody folsom Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram 1859 golden isles w, baxley, ga 31513, (888) 283-8230 where it was diagnosed that the tcm and PCM needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. However, the failure recurred intermittently. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The contact mentioned NHTSA campaign number: 18V332000 (electrical system, vehicle speed control) as a possible solution to the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 35,000.
