Went to start car car started making cranking noises after car started was driving down street going about 40mph engine shut off and steering wheel locked up took it to get dionastic found out it was. A crankshaft sensor there is a recall on this part but not under the month my car wasanafactured
Out of fuel vehicle ended up in traffic with cars zipping by. Police were called because the transmission could not be placed in neutral to push vehicle out of traffic. Had police not assisted it would result in being rear ended with children in the vehicle. The police nor the tow truck knew how to place vehicle in neutral. 3 months later the battery died and vehicle could not be placed in neutral to allow jump start. Lucky this did not happen in traffic or children would be at risk again. This could also have been avoided except that there is no idiot light on dash to warn of battery condition.
I was driving to work and there was a strange smell as if gas filled the car up and I got out and my head was hurting from the smell and I got nauseous and threw up. While I was driving it I almost passed out. Also my volume goes up and down by itself and the A/C turns on and off.

Vehicle while drive fine for many miles usually after driving on the highway but when I need to make a turn it becomes difficult for the vehicle to accelerate and will suddenly jerk forward or pop. My car was recently serviced due to the drive shaft cracking in an abnormal way according to mechanics which costed $4200 I expected the issue to be solved after the repair but it seems to have gotten worse there was a humming sound now while turning I'm afraid the problem may be manufacturer related since it's happening again after the repair
I have been having issues with several things. First when I stop the car it acts like it doesn't want to stop. It will actually come to a bumpy stop finally. Another issue is that the check engine light keeps coming on. After having the computer checked the code was for the catalick converter not functioning. The last issue happened yesterday and wheni was driving my car decided to decelerate for no reason. I was luck I was on a farm market road and not a major highway. I have checked for recalls on my vehocle via VIN number. However my specific VIN is not listed, but I am experiencing some of the same problems that are associated with the recalls. The dealership will not help because my vehicle is not listed in the recall list. I fear that I am going to get in a wreck before this company recalls all of its defective vehicles!
This is the second time my car has lost engine power, along with power steering and breaks. I pulled up to a light and stopped to turn right. I was on a busy surface street. As I tried to turn and accelerate I found the power steering was gone and that the car was rolling. All the car electrical I.e. music, lights were on but the engine was dead. I hit the power button and the car started again. I will take this car into Dodge again but I suspect that they will tell me that they can't find anything wrong with the vehicle and send me home with it. This happened last year also and there has been no resolution.
Brakes started to squeak and grind. The front was replaced after 3 visits to the dealership. The truck is delayed when accelerating and slips when accelerating in drive. This issue has not been fixed for the propulsion. This happens in motion on city streets and highway. The lights flicker when in park.
The car stalled out with no warning on the highway. Luckily I was going slow because I was going on an off ramp to get onto the highway. The car siezed up completely I had no control I barely was able to limp it into a parking lot. I was lucky. The car restarted with no problems after that. I took it to the dealer and they spent 3 full days diagnosing the problem. They found nothing. I looked online and there are similiar complaints about this vehicle. And the same thing is said over and over again.........nothing is known about the problem thus nothing can be done about the problem. Meanwhile I am stuck driving a car that could at any time do the same thing again. It is like playing russian roulette. I do not want to drive this car again I do not want this car anymore.
