Just bought the car 2 days from a local dealership. Drove it home and parked it. The next day I went to work. After work I pressed the start button and all gauges moved as if the car was turning on, the radio and air came on, but the car did not start. I noticed the brake pedal was stuck and could not be depressed. I youtubed a video about this and the guy mentioned pressing the start button 5 times in a row to get the car out of safety mode and then try to start the car. I tried this with no luck.
I somehow got the car to start by randomly pressing the start button three times and then pressed it again with foot on the break which now felt loose again. Drove the care home. The following day I could not get the car to start at all. All components come on. I see a battery icon, lightening bolt, all wheel drive service light, an indicator that the vehicle is not in park when it is. The dealership came out to my house to look at it and took some photos. They are going to tow the car tomorrow back to the dealership to check things over, which I appreciate very much. I am glad they are working with me on this and they were very nice about it. It's just a bummer to spend 18,000 dollars on a car that has issues.
