2015 Dodge Journey - My Transmition is going, I have traveled in Tennessee many miles then moved to Washington (hate that state) then to Michigan (not much better) with no problems, lots and lots of miles, love this car but its time to fix the transmition. never know what your going to get in a vehicle wether new or used, i would buy another dodge in a heartbeat love this car
I WAS DRIVING MY DODGE JOURNEY AND STARTING HEARING A WHINING NOISE. I IMMEDIATELY TOOK IT TO THE SHOP. I COULDN’T EVEN DRIVE WHEN TRYING TO DRIVE TO DEALER. I HAD TO HAVE MY VEHICLE TOWED. NO WARNING ALL WITHIN A 2 HOUR PERIOD.
Transmission made a hard shift then went into 3rd gear fail safe. Almost made it home when it totally failed and wouldn't engage at all. It felt like it was in neutral in all gears. Had to have it towed.
This is BS, I purchased this 2015 this past summer with 97,000 miles on it. I got what I thought was an excellent bargain because the vehicle appraised at $13,000. I was driving and out of no where the transmission began slipping. Hesitating uphill, kicking in downhill. In about a 2 mile stretch, the car would not move. I coasted into a transmission shop where they checked the car out and determined that it needed a new transmission. I immediately went home, jumped into my 2003 HONDA with 300,000+ miles and drove off. DODGE VEHICLES ARE CRAP!!!!
Vehicle still has paper tags on it. Left me and my family stranded on the side of a highway. This was horrible. I do not want the vehicle back. The amount of value I have lost due to this transmission automatically makes me upside down on this car! So much for reliability!
