3 separate incidents, all involving braking while in motion, spread over about 2 months. 1., took too long to come to a stop while braking at a red light (6 car lengths); 2., light tap caused car to screech to a stop; 3. complete failure; no response to repeated pumping; no resistance felt when pressing brake all the way to the floor, nearly flipped into a ditch, caused over $8K damages. The car itself had 23,295 miles on it when all this happened. Dodge "investigator" said nothing's wrong.

While my husband was driving home from work on 3/14/17, he stopped to help a fellow officer that was stranded, he got out of the vehicle and was helping the other officer he smelled smoke and looked back and saw that it was our car on fire. The fire occurred in the front drivers side door panel, he was able to drive the vehicle home, after he thought the fire was out. The next day he drove the car to the auto shop, while on the way there the fire restarted, he was able to make it to the body shop. The vehicle sat at the dealer ship for 13 or 14 days before we finally got the okay from Chrysler to fix it. The mecahanical part was fixed, however the sever smell from the smoke, burnt rubber, and plastic was not. We did take the vehicle back, and the dealership did do everything they could to get the smell out, the smell is still there. This is the only vehicle we have.so we have had no choice, but to drive it. My boys both have severe asthma and allergies, so riding in a car with a constant odor of smoke and burnt stuff is extremely unhealthy. My husband has also had a cough from the smoke inhailation that occurred, he is currently coughing stuff up outta his lungs. I have made at least 20-25 phone calls to Chrysler, and have not received one back, we have not even received the report from the fire inspector that they sent. I would really just like to get some answers and know my rights. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

I am not sure if this warrants a complaint but when I wreaked my vehicle my airbags did not deploy. I was traveling about 50mph on a main road it was night time and had started to rain and I hit a cow that was standing in the middle of the road. There was about $8000 dollars worth of damage to my vehicle. I am just curious as to why airbags didn't deploy. Should they have?

I will describe the 'problem' to the best of my ability: At completely random times if the car hasn't warmed up extensively it loses power and the feeling is as if you have been rear-ended by another car. Your foot is still on the gas and the car doesn't rev it just has nothing. I was almost hit many times. I actually had to pull out of traffic and put my flashers on to let it warm up another 7-10 minutes. This seemed to solve it, yet I still asked many people if they thought this was common with such a new vehicle.. I brought it in on March 14 at 7pm. By 9 am the next morning I got a call from the dealership and they had found nothing wrong with my car? there were 'no codes and no warning lights, so they couldn't fix what they didn't see.' I picked up the vehicle and drove home. 2 days later I drove a mile from my house to cvs pharmacy and had 'the problem' occur while I was going about 45 miles per hour. Again, I was almost hit by a car behind me because the car immediately stops with no warning, no braking, etc... it is the scariest feeling! it was completely odd to me because it was not cold this day. I looked the temp gauge in the car and it was 53 degrees. My husband told me to not drive it the rest of the day. When he got home he followed me to the dealership. They had the car over a month and finally called me. They claim it was a loose wire, but gave me such vague info.. I talked to the service manager and he still said they didn't know 100% accuracy what was wrong with this car. He said he would not deem it 100% safe. I chose to turn the lease in early because I will not risk my life or my family's life in this car. I don't want another person to buy this car not knowing the condition it is in! it only has 8345 miles on it and is a beautiful car, but dangerous!

I have recieved 3 recalls and all of them the manufacturer just says to contact dealer for vehicle inspection and part repair. Its been 3 mos and poway Dodge dealer said to wait till I got another recall notice that parts have been distributed. I am wondering if I need to have the accident before the company accepts responsability for repairs or worst deaths in my family. I have a two year old and an 8 year old to protect Mr. CEO/vp. First it was the breaks, then seat belt, now navigation system. I also have not been able to use one of the air condition vents in front seat cause its never circulated since I bought it. Was my car made on a Friday before happy hour?

ON EARLY DECEMBER 2015, WATER LEAK INSIDE MY VEHICLE, I BROUGHT THE VEHICLE TO KENDALL DODGE, THE BACK SEAT CONTAINERS WERE FILL WITH WATER, THE CARPET WAS WET AS WELL, KENDALL DODGE KEEP THE VEHICLE FOR A ONE AN A HALF WEEK, WHEN THEY CALL ME TO ADVISED ME THAT THE VEHICLE WAS READY WHEN I SHOW UP TO THE DEALER TO PICK UP THE CAR THE CASE MANAGER SHOW ME THE VEHICLE IT WAS NOTED THAT THE BACK SEAT CONTAINER WERE HALF WAY WITH WATER, I ASK THE CASE MANAGER WHAT WAS DONE IN MY VEHICLE SHE COULDN'T ANSWER SHE APOLOGIZED AND SHE TOLD ME THAT SHE WILL SEND THE CAR BACK TO THE SHOP, 3 DAYS LATER THEY CALL ME AGAIN TO TELL ME THAT THE VEHICLE WAS READY, WHEN I PICK UP THE CAR AN INSPECTION WAS DONE AND IT WAS NOTED THAT THE BACK CONTAINER HAD RUST, I ASK AGAIN, NO RESPONSE, SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THIS I BEEN IN CONTACT WITH CHRYSLER, I HAD REQUESTED MOLD TEST OR REPLACEMENT OF THE CARPET, THE VEHICLE SMELLS BAD HAD RUST I DONT KNOW IF IT HAS MOLD CHRYSLER KEEP GIVING ME THE RUN AROUND, THIS VEHICLE WAS NEW WHEN IT WAS PURCHASE MAY 26 2015, IN ADDITION THE TRANSMISSION KEEP GIVING ME PROBLEMS IT SEEMS THAT THEY ARE DEFAULTING IN THE AGREEMENT THAT WAS MADE WHEN I PURCHASE AND SIGN FOR THIS VEHICLE, I HAVE TWO LITTLE GIRLS AND THEY SPEND A LOT OF TIME IN THIS VEHICLE GOING TO SCHOOL AND PLACES AND AM NOT SURE IF THIS VEHICLE IS SAFE FOR THEM, PLEASE HELP MY TEL: [XXX] INFORMATION Redacted PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).

This is a rental car, therefore not positive if it's a 2015 model. While driving on the expressway, I shifted in my seat and my foot accidentally touched the hood release. The hood opened while driving, although not completely since it has a secondary hood latch release. The hood was bouncing until I could safely pull over at the next exit.

My sister and I purchased a Dodge Journey 2015, we only had it approx 3 weeks, briefly after returning home we found the car on fire which caught the carport and eventually the house. Fire inspector ruled car was started by the vehicle. Everything was destroyed.

While driving when slowing down from various speeds the entire radio system will shut down and reboot. The air and all cuts off when this happens. The screen has went black, and fullnof wildncolor and just simple falls when this hapoens the system reboots after a few minutes. Taken to dealership several times with no luck. =/ also is stalling and brake petal is very hard to push when trying to start.

Was driving outt of state in a 5 month old vehicle. We then stopped at a food place for about 25 minutes. When I tried to start the car, brake pedal was hard and would not give way, dash lights lit up run light as well but vehicle did not start. On several occassions the same thing happened with no results. After 5 attempts, the vehicle finally started and the check engine light lit up. Light stayed on for 4 days and then went off. Contacted dealership, after inspection determined crankshaft sensor message was recorded. Part was ordered and replaced. Hope this fixes the problem. Have seen all older models have similar issues. Hope Dodge addresses ant exsisting issues on new models.
