I was in the car with my pregnant wive, and my two boys (4 and 5). I was on capital Blvd in Raleigh taking the i440 ramp onto the main highway. As I decelerate to take the ramp the car stalled out, locking my steering wheel, brakes were non responsive.
I don't know if you guys are familiar with that ramp but it's it has a very bad curve and traffic on I-440 is terrible. So imagine me trying my hardest to pull the steering wheel to the right to make it down the ramp trying to hit the brakes to slow down and the car not wanting to. With cars behind me and fast cars on the highway! Let me tell you I never been more pissed off in my life!
This is a new car! Only reason it has 9k miles on it is because of my 3 trips to NJ but that's the reason I bought this thing. Now you need to tell me now I have to constantly worry about this happening again? Worse yet happening to my wife who wouldn't have the strength to pull the wheel? With my kids in the car? You got to be f*ing kidding me. I want answers! Why is this happening and what is Dodge going to do about it?
I was lucky I didn't go in the ditch there and flip the car! I was lucky I didn't get rear ended. I was lucky yes but I'm still pissed off.
Furthermore I was told by road side assistance it was going to be 50 mins to get a tow truck on site. It took 3 hours! Thanks
I called filed a complaint with Chrysler / Dodge. Car is at the dealership now. Not sure how things are going to go but you better believe I will not drive that out of that parking lot unless it's on paper that car is save to drive or you better believe I will sue the sh*t out of that place and you better believe they will be changing their name to Dorian Chrysler Dodge and Jeep!
