The ABS warning light is illuminated, but there is no trouble codes. There has been a recall alert, about the electronic stability of such I found online.
ABS recall, my Dodge Journey fits the same description for an ABS recall, however my VIN number doesn't say that it is affected. I am outside of warranty so the dealership won't touch it. Displeased majorly!!
My car has 64,000 miles on it and the ABS light, traction light, brake light and check engine light came. I have an appointment on Friday to get it diagnosed. At 32,000 miles the check engine light came on upon starting and my car would not go over 30 miles per hour. A fuel injector sensor went out.

On several occasions, my Journey has just shut down while in motion. This has happened to me and my husband. Lights go off, engine will not start, cannot push the brake to initialize startup. Online I have found many others with the same problem. Some believe that it is related to the key fab. The electronics key is not being recognized and shutting down the car. I took it to Dodge dealer and of course they could not duplicate problem or get a code. However, the danger of this is unacceptable!! I have two boys under the age of four! will a death have to occur to investigate this!?

While 4 days later it happened again this time the vehicle was in motion we were turning a corner and bam the car turns off again almost getting slammed by another vehicle. I have recieved 3 recalls and all of them the manufacturer just says to contact dealer for vehicle inspection and part repair. Its been 3 mos and poway Dodge dealer said to wait till I got another recall notice that parts have been distributed. I am wondering if I need to have the accident before the company accepts responsability for repairs or worst deaths in my family. I have a two year old and an 8 year old to protect Mr. CEO/vp. First it was the breaks, then seat belt, now navigation system. I also have not been able to use one of the air condition vents in front seat cause its never circulated since I bought it.
