ABS defect is the subject of NHTSA recall 15V675000. ABS control module is defective, possible water intrusion. ABS SYSTEM FAILURE COULD CAUSE LOSS OF CONTROL AND ACCIDENT. Vehicle to the Dealer for ABS repair in 2016, but the problem returned. ABS and ESC system errors and diagnostic codes. Independent mechanic found water inside the ABS unit, with corrosion and short circuits. Attempted repairs did not fix the issue. Vehicle was inspected by a local Dealer repair service, who verified the complaint. The Service Manager and Chrysler Corporation would not repair or replace the defective units. Filed a complaint with the Chrysler Customer Care and with NHTSA. Still waiting for a satisfactory reply.
