I haven't owned my Dodge Journey 3 years yet, and the brakes went to the floor two weeks ago. We limped the car to Tires Plus but they couldn't find a Master Cylinder part. The dealers wouldn't sell it to them. They were only going to charge $385.00, but instead we had to limp the car over to the Dodge Chrysler dealer where they informed us they would have to replace the master cylinder AND the booster at a cost of $833.89! This is ridiculous. I've owned over 20 cars in my lifetime, and I've never had a master cylinder go out! I want reimbursed!
