Significant areas of paint bubbles on both bottom corners of lift gate. Vehicle is still under warranty. (Supposedly) a claim was submitted to Chrysler. Claim (apparently) denied. Info received only from the dealer, not from Chrysler states "Based on the affected area image, this concern appears to have been caused bt (their spelling) an outside influence witch (their spelling) would not be considered a warrantable request such as a manufacturing defect or workman ship (their spelling) issue." Water collects through the bottom two holes drilled on either side of the lift gate in summer and in winter it forms ice between the 2 1/2 inch deep pocket between the lift gate & the bumper & on up between the sides of the lift gate & vehicle body where the pocket measures 5 1/2 inches. The two exhausts are also directly below the affected areas. In my opinion the issue could most definitely be a manufacturing defect or workmanship issue, moisture problem, or heat issue from exhaust and SHOULD BE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY!
