I was riding down the highway by myself and heard a loud snapping noise. I looked towards my passenger seat and noticed that the headrest had ejected from its casing. I have called the dealership and was told that I would have to $500+ to get a new headrest. This is highly unacceptable and dangerous. I can understand if I damaged it or got into an accident, but no one was sitting in the seat when this happened. If my wife would have been sitting there, we would probably be at the hospital with neck injuries considering the force that it ejected at. Dodge needs to fix this before this happens to someone who is driving and causes an accident or even a fatality.

My 2014 Dodge Journey has never been in any kind of accident. One day I came out to my parked Journey and noticed the headrest on the passenger seat popped out of place. The plastic brackets that latch to the metal bar broke. I contacted Dodge to make them aware of the issue and said there was nothing they could do.

My daughter and I were driving on a smooth street, when suddenly the passenger side headrest popped forward. It struck my daughter in the back of the head quite hard causing her to have a sore neck, and possibly need medical attention if it is not better in a day or so. This is completely unacceptable. In the long line of problems with this vehicle and numerous recalls, there is now an injury. I feel like I have to worry about my driver side headrest doing the same while I am driving. This car is literally falling apart. As a life long Dodge owner, I don't think I could ever buy another.

Wife was sitting in car in supermarket parking lot...talking on phone...car was parked and not running...no impacts involved...drivers side headrest activated...inspection of headrest shows interior plastic frame holding steel pin shattered...headrest had to be replaced...would have been a safety issue if car was being driven...luckily air bag didn't deploy

The driver seat seat belt alarm comes on and stays on, even when the seat belt is on. Also, the entire electrical system in the driver seat isn't working. The seat doesn't move in any direction anymore. The rear seat behind the driver seat is stuck in the forward position right behind the drivers seat which is also stuck. Also, the horn hasn't worked since I purchased the vehicle. Seems like there are lots of electrical issues through out the vehicle. The seat belt alarm begin when I crunk the vehicle up in the morning. I wasn't in motion. The middle seat behind the driver seat flew forward while vehicle was in motion and got stuck and has been stuck ever since. My sons legs are too long to sit in that rear seat and I have a carseat in the other. With these stuck seats there isn't much room. The electrical issues in the driver seat makes me wonder if it's not registering when I'm wearing a seat belt, is the air bag going to go off if it needed to?

In August 2017 I came out to get into the car and the drivers side headrest had parked in the driveway deployed overnight. Next day we were sitting in the car waiting for food to be delivered and the passenger side headrest deployed striking my daughter in the face hard enough to leave a bruise. Headrest will not reset and dealership states that it is a manufacturer defect but will not replace them. Vehicle was at 80000 miles at the time so no longer under full warranty, but the manufacturer should have to replace faulty safety equipment regardless.

Recived recall of the ABS moduel, passenger seat sometime falls for no reason. Has been taken to the dealer due to the car to going into gear and not coming out of gear. Was told by dealer that it was a computer issue. They advised it had been fixed but it still get stuck from time to time. I do no feel safe in this care and feel like I am stuck in a vehicle I can't trust. In these instances the seat we where on the highway. Moving from gear to park or park to gear the vehicle was stationary.
