I went to work and parked my car in the parking lot at 830AM. I pressed the button to turn off the car. Stepped out of the car. Closed the door. Locked the door with the key button to lock the door and walked away. Everything inside the car was off before I walked off. Looked back at the vehicle and it was all quiet. No headlights were on. Returned to the car at 430PM. Didn't hear the engine on. Opened the door. Noticed that everything inside the car was on. I even heard the engine but only once inside the car. The car burned through half a tank of gas from 830AM till 430PM.
Doesn't this car come with an auto shutoff after 2hrs when the key is not within a specific distance? The key was with me at all times in my pocket and I was away from the car at least 100 yards in a concrete building.
