The mechanic told me that he has seen at least 12 other Dodge Journeys so far in our small town with this same failure. They are made out of plastic and are under the intake for the engine so they crack from heating and cooling over time. When they crack oil will leak out a lot, starving the engine of oil causing engine damage.
