Worst dodge I had for brake problems. Grinding noise when you put on the brakes. Not always, but probably 50% of the time in any kind of weather & driving conditions. Of course, seldom does it when you take it in to dealership!!!
Within 1 month of purchase, I took it back for inspection. They changed pads & rotors. I've had different dealerships as well as an independent automotive service garage look at it at least 4 more times in the last four years. I've changed brakes, pads, rotors, bearings and pretty much anything that had to do with brakes. Independent service guy thought it might have something to do with suspension, but said it would be costly to fix & no guarantee. The problem continues to this day (July 2016) with little hope of resolving the issue (whatever it may be). .Whatever!! I have given up on finding the answer. If it wasn't for the extended warranty, which hasn't helped either, I would have traded it long ago.
I guess I should think about trading it in while I have some of the transferable warranty left on it which is supposedly going to have added value when I trade or sell, although I doubt I can count on that either!!!
I've always bought Chrysler/Dodge vehicles, but this may very well be the last one!!!
THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN A RECALL ON THIS ISSUE.
