I own a 2012 Dodge Journey and lost the brakes yesterday and almost had an accident. When I brought it into Dodge, they said that the brake fluid was contaminated and would cost $2000 to fix. I found a recall on same problem for same year and model but they said was not the same thing. The recall was for Dodge Jouneys made from October 21-25 2011. Mine was made in January 2012. It is less than 3000 miles out of warranty and they refused to help.
