This is the 3rd time the AC has stopped working. It just occurred, so I am not sure what it will cost to fix yet - or if I'll fix it.

rear a/c comes on when hitting bumps

Any time someone sits down in the front passenger seat or you hit a bump the rear a/c turns on. If you turn it off it almost immediately comes back on. Go through this process several times and it eventually quits.
