fuel system problem
Car lost all power when it shut off. I was going uphill at about 30-40 mph with 1/4 of a tank of gas when the car just died. I was able to pull off the road, stop the car and get it restarted. I took it to the dealership where they said the computer did not have any codes on it. After describing what happened to the car, they hooked up to the fuel pump to check the pressure. They said the pressure was all over the place instead of a steady rate. They recommend having the fuel pump replaced. We have ordered a fuel pump at another repair shop and we were told they are on backorder. Waiting to see if the part ever comes in.

Car wouldn't start. Got a jump and the car started, but the engine wouldn't rev. Too much fuel. Car stalled again. Rejump started and let the engine idle for 5 minutes, then it ran okay.
