If this had happened when I needed to perform a maneuver at a high speed or get out the way of something it would have been catastrophic. If it had occurred on a busy highway it would have been dangerous. Apparently I am not the only one this has happened to...and the whole gas pedal assembly is PLASTIC!! WTF??
