A D V E R T I S E M E N T S
I have owned 10 Dodge & Chrysler trucks, prowlers, 300M and Grand Cherokees. I bought a 2009 Dodge Journey in '08. I have 60760 mi. on it. Have replaced brakes completely 5 times and now the power train has to be replaced! I am 71 yrs. old and on social security and because I did not go in for the 5 yr checkup on the power train in November, they are refusing to pay the $2400 to fix it. I paid a lot for the extended warranty.
When is the last time their grandma made sure she had the 5 yr. checkup on her power train!!!! The last time I took it in for my "free" maintenance it was $700 and nothing was broken. That was in 2011 and have got my maintenance from Chevron maintenance depots.
THIS IS ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGEOUS!
Now, the car is sitting at the dealership because I do not have the money to pay for it and they want me to pay for the tow, the diagnostic test (which cannot be performed until I get the power train fixed) & the rental car! I called Dodge's customer service and they said NO and didn't even try to work it out with me.
