i have had this Journey for a year... a couple month after which was may 2011 i got it the alternator went out on it cost about 500$ to get it fixed ... this year June 2012 the car started not cranking... i had to switch the key around 5 or 6 times before it starts... after awhile it started saying bad key so i paid 350 something dollars for the key and to get it programmed now it doing the same thing again not wanting to start .... this is a bad vehicle i will never own one of these again... its costing me to much money to keep it going.....
Because this car would not start on numerous occasions, I carried it to the dealership where I purchased it, in Greenville, MS for service. I was told that a new starter and solenoid would solve the issue. It did not. After calling Dodge customer service, I received a partial payment refund, but my problem still exists with no idea as to how long the car will continue to be drivable. The car was purchased new will a cash purchase. I am sorry to ever have seen this car, and it has convinced me that I never want a Dodge product again. Customer service, and standing behind the product after the sale is a thing of the past in the U.S.automobile industry. I am now a foreign car convert, thanks to Dodge.
