I have an 09 Dodge Journey. There is an awful smell more times than not when I use my heat and or defrost. The smell can be so bad at times my son states he does not want to be in the car anymore. Oh great this is how we get around. Took to dealer I was told this is normal and they said they ran some kind of liquid through the ac lines, guess what you got it that did not fix the problem and I have never had that problem in other car and or smelled it in anyone else car. Dealer also suggest I take the cow panel off and spray lysol spray down where the air intake is to kill bacteria in lines. Any suggestions on how to get rid of smell for good.
