Recall 98 V 184 000/fuel leakage: After recall repairs were done on three occasions fuel injector failed, and causes fuel leakage onto engine. Dealer notified. Informed consumer that part of failure was not covered under recall. Seeking NHTSA assistance on this matter. Feel free to provide any further information.
Gas leak at fuel rail and fuel injector, causing spark plugs to short out, repaired prior to recall, after repair continued to have problems with rough idling/hesitation and missing. Upon 2nd visit found carbon build up in number 1 and 6 cylinder, and arcing at end of #4 wire, all repaired as well as 2nd replacement of fuel rail O-rings. All problems due to gas leak. (98V-184)
Was smelling fumes inside vehicle. Took vehicle to dealer. Informed fuel injectors were leaking fluid. Vehicle not under recall (#98V184000), but had same problem.
Vehicle experiencing same problem as indicated in NHTSA recall #98V-184 000, Chrysler/ fuel leakage. Dealer/ mfr. Notified and informed consumer vehicle was not under that recall.
