Received recall 99V215000 in mail. Contacted dealership. Took vehicle to dealer & mechanic repaired cradle bolts. When driving more than 60mph, vehicle would shake. This was 2nd day after recall was done. Remedy had failed.

Recall 99V215/engine cradle; tool that is needed to perform recall repairs is not available. Consumer has contacted dealer frequently about the recall. Recall 99V215 the lower control arm attaching brackets can crack due to fatigue land separate from the engine cradle.
Recall 99V215000/ engine cradle. Contacted dealer (performance Dodge, 7609 SE 29th street, midwest city ok 405-7373700) on April 4, 2000. Dealer indicated that tools to perform recall repairs were on national back order, and won't be available until about 3 - 4 months.

Consumer received recall 99V215000/engine cradle. Took vehicle in for repairs. Shortly after, vehicle continued making noises, especially when making turns. Problem became more severe after recall work was done.
Consumer received recall notice 99V21500/engine cradle, and called for an appointment. Dealer asked if consumer purchased car from them. Consumer said no. An appointment was made for 04-06-2000, and consumer was told maybe he should shop around.
Dealer called to cancel appointment made for recall repairs made for Tuesday Mar 7-200O. Informed that a special tool needed for this repair was unavailable. Dealer was unable to to tell them when it would be available. Dealer failed to honor recall 99V215/ engine cradle.
