Brand new Caravan from the dealership. Only drove it home and on my way home from work (following day) the engine started racing and the van wouldn't move. I took videos and the dealership repaired it. Only at 200km.
As I drove home from the dealership, after around 50km it started to slip again, I made videos and took it back in. They kept it and fixed it.
It's been around 4100km now, no issues until yesterday. I was going up a steep hill (blue mountain). I heard a noise as it was shifting, after reaching the top of the hill it smelt like a burnt clutch. It's been 200km since and no issues.
Overall I would not recommend a dodge caravan to anyone. I was warned by many people but didn't listen. I've owned, Hondas, Toyotas, GMs and currently a Mazda. I have not had the issues and the fear of my vehicle breaking down until owning a Dodge.
