The contact owns a 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle was shuddering and then lost motive power. The vehicle was towed to the residence and then later to the dealer, where it was diagnosed with a faulty automatic shutdown relay (ASD) fuse. The dealer replaced the ASD fuse; however, the failure recurred. The dealer determined that the fuse box and the Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM) needed to be replaced; however, the replacement parts were on backorder. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.
